The Fruits of the Spirit

Evidence of abiding faith — we yield to the manifestation of God’s Holiness within regeneration, a belonging.

Meditating in a personal way, drawing closer, listening, abiding indwelling – God’s very presence in his words.

Knowing him intimately as our creator, Father; leaning and trusting. 

Abiding we manifest Christ.

Where there is no abiding, there is no fruit.

The action of surrender to abide in Christ, pushing against our dual nature of human and spirit — as Paul speaks of in Romans seven.

Galatians three challenges us to ABIDE. 

Meditate and humbly receive – be STRENGTHENED from within.

ABIDE…

Meditate on these things.

Galatians 5:22-24 ESV – 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24  And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Galatians 5:24-26 NLT
[24] Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. [25] Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. [26] Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another. …
